Greetings all! I tend to disappear for lengthy periods of time, don't I? :D Apologies on that- life gets complicated. Did several art festivals this past summer, so gearing up for next year. My son started 1st grade which is fun. I'm still doing commission work. The whole nine yards! However, life is good. Hope everyone has had a lovely year thus far. Hi everyone!  Just an update on the spring art festivals I did! I had SUCH a great time at them! I just did 4 each weekend the first weekends this month. It was awesome just getting my artwork out again! I got great feedback and picked up some extra work! I have another set of artwork I'm working on to do some fall and winter shows before Christmas. I think I'm going to do more of the kitchen/food type drawings for those- I'm looking more at craft/art shows for that versus straight art festivals (at least through the holiday season- prints are easier to do of those!). I'm super excited to be doing this- it's such an awesome learning experie

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a lovely holiday season! :) Mine was rather super with the family so all is well. So, topic of point, I'm doing some art festivals and fairs this year! I've never done anything like this with my art, so I'm excited to see how it works out. I'll be offering portrait services, pencil starting out. I may offer color options like color pencil, watercolor, and oil at a later date. This is just to get my feet wet so to speak though. ;) I have 3 lined up so far this spring and I'm waiting to hear about 4 in the late summer and fall seasons. So, the waiting has begun, but I'm still super excited about my first three!
